My Journey Home:

Why Your Repair Ally is Different

Before I ever picked up a wrench for an appliance, I was building a career on trust and technical rigor. At just 21, I managed a portfolio of 135 investment homes (for three investors), overseeing everything from maintenance to tenant relations, teaching me the value of efficiency and accountability. My commitment to technical precision then led me to a specialized field, where I travelled the country repairing Dynamometers, complex, high-stakes testing equipment. This experience ingrained in me a dedication to meticulous detail and deep, effective problem-solving.

My focus shifted in 2015. When my son was diagnosed with Autism, my family relocated to enrol him in a specialised school. I chose to step away from my demanding career to become the stay-at-home parent, ensuring he had the stability and dedicated support he needed during those formative years.

Then, life gave me a pivotal challenge in 2022 when my wife left me and moved from Kansas to Northeast Ohio. With my three children now hundreds of miles away, the deep connection I shared with them became my singular focus and my greatest motivator.

As my prior role as a stay-at-home dad paused, I knew I had to build a new path, one that would allow me to eventually return to them. I took a job as an appliance repair technician at a friend's shop. This wasn't just a new career; it was my foundation for a new future, dedicated entirely to reaching my children.

I poured everything into that work. Over the course of three years, I progressed from a new tech to Director of Operations and lead technician. But in the back of my mind, the only destination was Northeast Ohio, where my kids were. In November of 2025, I finally made the move.

That journey taught me an invaluable lesson: my greatest fulfilment comes from truly helping people. Yet, in the corporate repair world, I watched as large companies' need for massive overhead and profit margins forced prices higher. I saw a heartbreaking cycle where good, honest people were pushed into expensive, unnecessary repairs.

That’s why Your Repair Ally exists. This company is my commitment to doing things the right way. My low-overhead model means I can offer the most affordable repairs possible. I live by the principle that not every appliance is worth fixing, and unlike larger competitors who push the repair for the profit, I would rather turn a repair into an installation referral if it saves you money in the long run. My job is to protect your wallet and your peace of mind.

When I step into your home, you're not just a number on a repair ticket; you are my neighbour, and I am there to earn your trust. I guarantee meticulous attention to detail, ensuring no damage to your home or appliance during the process. I even openly share free tips, such as power cycling, defrosting, or cleaning—because I genuinely want you to fix it yourself if you can.

The truth is, I care about your appliances more than you do. I care about the trust you place in me. By choosing Your Repair Ally, you're not just getting a repair; you're supporting a dad who moved across the country to be closer to his children, and whose entire business is built on a mission to restore honesty, respect, and fairness to the service industry. Let me be your ally.
